If you were paid less than European colleagues for the same work on the same vessel, you can join a collective action. You sign up under a pseudonym. Your answers and documents go into a sealed dossier that only the lawyers can open — and your account is deleted the moment you submit.

A counter is the only thing this platform stores per case. No names, no rows, nothing that points back to a person.

Why this action exists
On 18 August 2025 the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights ruled in cases 2025-74 and 2025-75 that two Dutch shipping companies committed prohibited discrimination on grounds of nationality and race: a Filipino and an Indonesian seafarer were paid roughly one half to one third of what their EU colleagues earned for identical work aboard the same vessels, through a "country of residence" clause in the collective agreements.
The overtime gap was wider still. The Institute rejected both the customary-international-law defence and the objective-justification defence.

How joining works
Five steps. At no point does this platform learn who you are, and after the last step there is no account left to find.

Pick any name that is not yours, plus an e-mail or phone number so you can get back into an unfinished intake. No real name here.

Your ship, your rank, your pay, the agreement you sailed under — the same facts that decided the reference case.
Documents
Your ID or marine pass, seaman's book, contracts and payslips. They go straight into sealed storage, resumable if the link drops.
Seal
You review everything and confirm. The dossier is then locked with a key for this case that this platform itself cannot use.
Account deleted
Your pseudonym, session and every row belonging to it are erased and then counted back to zero. Nothing links you to the dossier.
What we hold, and what we cannot hold
The design assumes the worst: a break-in, an insider, or a legal demand against this platform. In all three cases the answer is the same, because a platform cannot hand over what it does not have.
Only the lawyers authorised for this case can open it, each with a grant that expires. Every opening is logged.

What "deleted" means here
A delete that leaves traces is not a delete. Six classes are removed and then counted again; the wipe is finished only when every count is zero. If one is not, that is an incident, not a warning.
The login itself, with the e-mail and phone records behind it.
Every active session and refresh token, revoked on the server.
Any notification token registered during the intake.
Profile, drafts, settings — including everything nested under them.
Any upload leftovers outside the sealed dossier.
Request logs age out within seven days and carry no IP address.

These are the documents that carried the reference case. Bring what you have — a missing payslip does not disqualify you, and the lawyer can ask for more later.

Reaching the lawyer, later
There is no code to keep and no account to log back into. If you want to correct something, add a document, or withdraw from the action, you contact the lawyer directly and show the same ID document that is inside your dossier. Same ID, same person — that is the whole procedure.
This platform is not part of that conversation. After your intake it cannot contact you at all; only the lawyer can, using the details you placed in the dossier.
You may also register again at any time under a new pseudonym. If that creates a second dossier for the same person, the lawyer resolves it — this platform never tries to match people across dossiers.
